Full House
Thanksgiving is at the Basilius Residence this year. All three kids are home, Mother in law with husband getting in tonight. We solved the bedroom allocation problem, so no one is on the floor so far. Wife's family and my son are all talented in the kitchen, so the feast should be very good. Everyone is healthy, warm and employed.
All in all, much to be thankful.
The Chickhawks in the White House are on the ropes, and that is a good thing. I frankly have little time for the looney liberal left and tend to the center on most things, but nothing has quite scared and annoyed me like the melding of neocon Nazinuts and Jesus Rapture Freaks that has brought us Bush II, Enron Denial, Gulf War II, Operation Enduring Bumbling and the new party game of "Blow that Agent's Cover!". Time wounds all heals, and it seems like that time has come for Double Rumspeak, Dr. Evil, Swift-Boat Rove and Shrub.
Wife and I are trying for number 1/4 (her number 1, my number 4). You know, my first wife half joked / half seriously considered getting a stand in to help her out with me..the second used to say I had stamina for a squad of women.
What a difference a decade makes. Yikes!
Well, I can keep up, but for the first time in my life I think I am with a woman that can wear me out.
And yes, there is a smile on my face as I write this.
Christmas this year, well I have the list from her. Jewelry, check. Clothes, check.
List of sex toys and restraints..
Check.
Yipee!
Life is good.

You have my eternal envy on all fronts. I will probably spend Thanksgiving alone in my office (better than alone in my apartment), with either fast food or frozen pizza for dinner.
Have found a new casual sex partner, but there will be no anticipation of Christmas gifts on any front (except hopefully a check from the parents), and the Boy Child will wipe me out with his wish list.
It's the hope that one day I will have a holiday season with as much joy and love as yours that keeps me going through the lonely days/weeks/months.
I would wish you a happy holiday but it seems you have it in the bag!
